The Department of Islamic History and Arts is concerned with the historical process of Islamic religion from its birth to the present and deals with the major political, social, cultural, literary, and artistic events that took place in the history of Islam. Pre-Islamic Arab society, the birth of Islam, the period of the four caliphs and other Muslim states, institutions established by Muslims, and the tradition of science and culture are researched.
